The ideal partner
Our extensive process knowledge and experience in biotechnological production, based on many years of research and development activities for our products, make us the ideal partner for the contract manufacturing of a wide range of microorganisms and enzymes. We offer process development and contract manufacturing of microorganisms and enzymes on various scales: from the preparation of cell banks and fermentation to downstream processes followed by freeze-drying and filling of finished products into a wide variety of containers.

Depending on the application, our products are manufactured in accordance with the applicable regulations for ISO 9001, FAMI-QS, FSSC 22000. Both the company and the products are subject to regular inspections. This makes us your trusted supply chain partner.

Research and
Development
Research and development is an important part of Lactosan. More than 15 % of Lactosan's employees work in the R&D department. Our own microbiological and molecularbiological research groups work on isolating new strains and developing characterisation and identification methods. Our process engineering and technical centre research groups contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and support our customers in process development.
