Ideal system for every bacterial strain
After drying, further processing takes place in the respective powder line. The product flakes dried by lyophilisation are crushed in mills.
The dried product is ground into a fine powder in a mill. This modern mill is ATEX (ATmosphères EXplosives regulation) compliant as required in Europe. The ground powder is collected in a sealable stainless steel container for further processing.
The lyo-cake is ground and sieved in the Microbial Additive Plant. Depending on requirements, several sieves with different mesh sizes are available to ensure optimum mixability for subsequent processing steps.
A qualified sieve mill is available in the pharmaceutical plant. Miscibility of the lyophilized product is ensured by grinding the lyo-cakes and sieving the powder.
